Certified Latex Nanospheres are uniform Latex polystyrene spheres calibrated in nanometers and supplied with a NIST traceable certificate. Aquous suspension 15 mL, optimal concentration for better dispersion and colloidal stability ; density 1.05 g/cc, refraction index 1.59 at 589 nm ; 1 % solid. They are ideal for electron microscope calibration, AFM, laser diffraction, colloid research, turbidimeters, etc. They are also used for bacteria, virus, ribosome, sub-cell sizing and other scientific purposes.

The particle diameters are traceable to the Standard Meter through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).)
